I am BAaaaCk!

Just kidding I really don't know what to say, and at the moment I do not have any cute pictures of my kiddos. I am so grateful for my life and how my Heavenly Father strengthens me each day. In this month of thanksgiving I have much to be thankful for. First and foremost, my faith in God. Secondly it is the month of my husbands birth, and I cannot think of what my life would be like without him. Third, two very adorable children who without fail bring as much joy in my life as they do frustration. Fourth, I have the ability to help the people I care about sooo much, and am blessed by them as well. Fifth, I have some of the most marvelous friends in existance. Really every where I look, my life is full. NOW, if I could just remember that in the moments when life is so full it feels overwhelming.

1st Day of School

By the end of summer I am a mixed up ball of emotions. I am so excited for my children to go to school, because I loved school as a child, and want them to love school too. That being said, I do miss them during the day. It was particularly hard to watch my little girl go and not have her company for at least half the day like last year. On her first day they filled out a paper on 1st day jitters, and she just said "I am not nervous!" My son has already taken a test and say "It was easy, and I loved it." They are enjoying riding their bikes to school ( check out the motley biker crew we have every morning), but my son wonders if he will be allowed to ride his skateboard to school when he gets one. We will have to see about that. They both have very sweet and loving teachers, who seem to be excited about teaching and having them in their class. I am thankful that they love school, and hope that this year will be just as fun and thrilling as the previous years.

First Day of School

August has been a full and eventful month. First, Uncle Jay took all the kids to the fair, to give the two mommies a break. Then we had my nephew's third birthday. He is missing dad, as well as mom. We hope to be able to see daddy soon. We had our Aunties and Uncles over to celebrate with cake and he even got a bike (one that isn't dora and a little girly). We had a visit from Grandpop and Aunt Jean, and our cousin Skye. Our Aunty came down to visit for few days, while her husband worked in Provo. And we Had Grandpa Gary's 60th birthday party. We finished it all up with a trip to Salem Pond, where we could play at a park, feed the ducks, catch little fish, and climb trees. We are anticipating the first day of school, in a few days. Whew, we might just be a little thankful for some routine.
